How to Use LinkedIn’s Project Section to Showcase Skills Acquired From School Coursework

By Roy Young

While completing MBA coursework, students have had classes that required them to do project work. And they may have participated in case competitions or other special projects. Listing these projects on LinkedIn is a powerful way to showcase skills (hard and soft) and knowledge. In this way, students will strengthen their perceived value to potential employers far beyond their past job experience. Coaches will find useful and easy-to-follow instructions to give students in our new tip sheet titled How to Use LinkedIn’s Project Section to Showcase Skills Acquired from School Coursework. To download and read it, click on the thumbnail below: The tip sheet is part of a new Digital Footprint Toolbox for our Video Portal subscribers to be released soon with videos, tip sheets, checklists and templates to move students and alumni to build the discipline of proactive online communication that is required for career development.
